Everything to make your holiday a lifelong, memorable experience.
Prices are different in different seasons because of the various rates of hotels.
It is more expensive to travel in the high season, from April until the end of September, and especially in the 2 peak seasons: the New Year’s Eve Festivities (25 Dec–5 Jan) and the Flower Festival (May).
Autumn and Winter, from October to March, is a low season. Travelling in the low season is an excellent way to gain an affordable trip, as airfare and hotel rates are a lot lower.
We choose hotels based on their location, feedback, and best value for money. That is the reason we do not publicise their names because it depends on the season and other local circumstances that may occur such as festivals, works in the area, among others. For more details, please email us.
Yes, it’s the single supplement rate, which depends on the date you choose (see contact form below). Please note that there are dates where this supplement is reduced.
You can find our optional extras on our Home page – everything to make your holiday a lifelong, memorable experience.
Check-in time is at 14:00 and check-out is at noon. If you arrive in the early part of the day, this can mean a wait at the hotel. Many hotels offer a left luggage area, so you may enjoy this time by taking a walk, having a snack, or doing some exploring.
You will receive an email confirmation with your travel dates. There is nothing more for you to do (although it’s always a good idea to take a printed copy or a print screen of your confirmation).
You will meet the representative in the arrival’s hall of the airport, holding a sign with our logo. He/ she will direct you to the coach. You will then meet the assistant in the hotel lobby at the designated time and date. The assistant is the person who will update you with the tour itinerary, events, and answer your questions and queries to help you make the most of your holiday.
To book transfers, we must receive complete arrival and departure details at the time of purchase. Without your airline information, we cannot book transfers.
If you have access to phone or internet, please contact our office. Call 00351 934 878 868 or email info@luxmadeira.com and advise us of approximately when you will be arriving. We will alert our personnel to make sure they are aware of it. No extra payment in this case.
If you don’t inform us that your flight is delayed, and you miss the scheduled transfer, we recommend that you take a taxi from the airport. Any additional expenses for transportation will be at your expense. We regret that we cannot issue any refunds or credits for any missed portions of the package.
The prices shown are per couple/ package. This means that the price shown is for two people, based on two people sharing the room.

Madeira island holidays are the ideal getaway all year round. Madeira weather in coastal areas is temperate and mild with no great extremes- although the temperature can drop the higher you go on the island so, whatever time of year you visit, be sure to bring warm clothes when visiting the mountains. Obviously, rainfall is higher in the winter, and you’ll probably need to pack a raincoat or umbrella. Madeira’s average temperatures range from 18C in winter to 25C in summer, with sea temperatures being nearly the same due to a warm Gulf Stream that surrounds the Island all year round, 18C to 22C.
The dress code for our tours is comfortable and casual. Dressing in layers gives comfort, as you can shed and add items when the climate varies. Consider packing.
Tours operate rain or shine, but in the case of inclement weather, your Tourist Guide will modify the tour so more time is spent indoors. It never hurts to have an umbrella on hand.
