24 hours daily Pick-up
ARRIVAL TRANSFER

We’ll check all flight schedules to know of any delays or cancellations. We will be waiting for you when you land at the arrivals, holding a sign with your name.

DEPARTURE TRANSFER

We will pick you up at the reception of your hotel. The driver will have your name.

- Show the driver your voucher and board the vehicle to drive straight to your destination. You can present either a paper or an electronic voucher.
24 hours daily Departure Transfer time

For Airport departure transfers, you should make sure that you choose a pick-up time that will get you to Madeira Cristiano Ronaldo Airport at least 2 hours before your flight departure time. It takes between 20-25 minutes from Funchal to get to the airport, but only 10 minutes from Machico.

Don’t worry, we will email you with the pick-up time details.

Private Group Transfer

Getting to or coming from Madeira Airport is easy.

You will receive an email confirmation with your transfer details. There is nothing more for you to do (although it’s always a good idea to take a printed copy or a print screen of your confirmation).

After collecting your luggage, you will meet the representative holding a sign with your name outside the airport building. He/ she will direct you to the coach.

You will meet the assistant in the hotel lobby at the designated time and date. The assistant is the person who will update you with the tour itinerary and events and answer your questions and queries to help you make the most of your holiday.

To book transfers, we must receive complete arrival and departure details at the time of purchase. Without your airline information, we cannot book transfers.

If you have access to a phone or the internet, please get in touch with our office. Call 00351 934 878 868 or email info@luxmadeira.com and advise us of approximately when you will be arriving. We will alert our personnel to make sure they are aware of this. No extra payment in this case.

If you don’t inform us that your flight is delayed, and you miss the scheduled transfer, we recommend you take a taxi from the airport. Any additional expenses for transportation will be at your own expense. We regret that we cannot issue refunds or credits for any missed transfer.

Our driver or Tourist Guide will have a list with the passenger’s names, and, in case of being a group, the group’s name will also be printed on the windscreen of our vehicle.

Terms & Conditions

Madeira island holidays are the ideal getaway all year round. Madeira weather in coastal areas is temperate and mild with no great extremes-although the temperature can drop the higher you go on the island, so whatever time of year, be sure to bring warm clothes when visiting the mountains. Obviously, rainfall is higher in the winter, and you’ll probably need to pack a raincoat or umbrella. Madeira’s average temperatures range from 18C in winter to 25C in summer, with sea temperatures being nearly the same due to a warm Gulf Stream that surrounds the Island all year round, 18C to 22C.

The dress code for our tours is comfortable and casual. Dressing in layers gives the most comfort, as you can shed and add items when the climate varies. Consider packing.
