Overview
For nature lovers! This cruise leaves Funchal bay towards the island’s original capital, Machico, where the discoverers first landed. After a brief stop to admire the beautiful bay, we’ll head to Caniçal, at the easternmost point of Madeira. We’ll see two islets at the end of the Peninsula: the Desembarcadouro and Farol. Here, we can admire the 150-year-old lighthouse, which is the oldest lighthouse in Madeira. The Peninsula and the Desembarcadouro Islet are natural reserves because of the rich geology, vegetation, and bird species. We will stop at the beautiful bay of Baia d’Abra to swim and relax.
