Overview

We invite you for an up-close experience with dolphins and whales in the seas of Madeira. Before setting off on your adventure, we will briefly introduce the dolphins and whales of Madeira. The waters around the island are deep and rich in nutrients and are ideal habitats for various marine mammals — over 20 different whale species observed throughout the year. We have spotters on strategic lookouts on land to help us find cetaceans and boats specialized in wildlife observation led by marine biologists. These are RIB boats, high-speed boats which can go far to see cetaceans. You can also swim with dolphins*, which is an unforgettable experience! BOOK NOW!

* Please note: Since it depends on animals, we cannot guarantee “swimming with dolphins” in advance. The confirmation will be made only during the trip, after the activity starts. In the case of conducting it, payment is made directly to the company.

It is possible to swim with dolphins! An experience not to be missed! Swimming with dolphins always depends on sea conditions and the species observed, as it is only possible with spotted dolphins and common dolphins. We provide snorkelling equipment.

Commentary in Portuguese, English, and French. The crew will explain the rules.
