Food, culture, people and ...
... landscape are all absolutely inseparable
From: €31.00
Fajã dos Padres is a must-visit place for all Madeira visitors who love unique experiences and do not mind heights. A knowledgeable guide will lead you through the organic farm on a path close to the Atlantic Ocean and between banana plants and other crops. You will learn about the history, agriculture, winemaking, sustainability, and specific crops of Fajã dos Padres and the island, some of which you do not know. You will be happy to see how nature is respected and coexists in harmony with farm work. They also put the same care and enthusiasm into food production. Of course, you cannot leave without tasting their products. After the visit, you can choose to taste two kinds of fruits or have lunch (different prices). If you decide to taste the fruits, you will know how the fruits grown on volcanic soil and homemade jams taste — intense and indescribable. If you choose the delicious 2-course of local cuisine (drinks included), you will enjoy the magnificent view of the sea and cliffs and listen to the sound of the waves on the coast. A must-visit place in Madeira if you want to escape the crowd. Book Now! Please note: since this booking requires confirmation, you do not need to pay at checkout. Reserve your seat now, and if we reach 4 adults paying, we will send an email 24 hours before the tour.

Madeira weather in coastal areas is temperate and mild with no great extremes-although the temperature can drop the higher you go on the island so, whatever time of year you visit, be sure to bring warm clothes when visiting the mountains. Obviously, rainfall is higher in the winter and you’ll probably need to pack a rain coat or umbrella. Madeira’s average temperatures range from 18C in winter to 25C in summer, with sea temperatures being nearly the same due to a warm Gulf Stream that surrounds the Island all year round, 18C to 22C. Madeira island holidays are the ideal getaway all year round!
The dress code for our tours is comfortable and casual. Dressing in layers gives more comfort as you can shed and add items when the climate varies. Consider packing.
Tours operate rain or shine, but in the case of inclement weather, your Tourist Guide will modify the tour so more time is spent indoors. It never hurts to have an umbrella on hand.
