See the line where the sky meets the sea?
It calls me!
From: €35.00
If you are feeling fit enough, this walk is a must-do! We divided it into two parts: the first is easy and flat, while the second part has steps to negotiate. From Moledo, we will go around the highest peak of Porto Santo — “Pico do Facho” (516 m) —, for a 360º panoramic view of the island. On one side, we see the beautiful beach and rugged, sheer cliffs on the other. Furthermore, you will admire the beauty of the terracing and stone walls. Then we will return to the same spot where we started and then climb along a zigzagging path to the fifth-highest peak: “Pico do Castelo” (437 m). Once at the top, you’ll get stunning views of the entire island, over the ocean of both sides, the city of Vila Baleira, the beach and the airport. On the top is a curious house with a stone roof and cannons used when pirates raided the islands. We find the endemic vegetation along this route and the exotic pine trees introduced in the 20th century. An excellent walk for amazing pictures, not to be missed. Please note: since this booking requires confirmation, you do not need to pay at checkout. Reserve your seat now, and we will send an email 1-2 days before the tour. CHECK AVAILABILITY NOW!

Nature in general can do so!
Nature is unpredictable, and we can’t guarantee sightings.
The boat crew care about the wildlife and environment and collect plastic and other rubbish out of the sea during the trip. There are limitations: they’re not allowed to move near the pods with their engines running and can only watch them for 10 mins.
We stop for 20 minutes to swim in a calm ocean. If the sea is rough, the boat won’t leave the harbour.
It can be the same boat or another within the same category since the transportation company owns several boats.
Please remember this is a relaxing boat trip.
However, the crew knows Madeira’s wildlife species and provides plenty of information to people who ask more about them.
The boat has enough room for everyone. The capacity during the pandemic is 2/3, but because of the stable situation and low COVID-19 case numbers on Madeira and Porto Santo islands, 100%. However, there may be changes to the allowed capacity at any time. If you have questions, please contact us.
If it’s a hot day, there is room for everyone in the shade. It can turn chilly at sea, so take something to cover up.
The transfer is included. We will pick you up at your hotel or agreed location.
You can park at the Marina if you have a car.
Even though we can’t guarantee sightings, this company will do their best to find wildlife. We can see common dolphins, turtles, and crabs.
There is no way of knowing where the animals will be. However, we always try our best to find them.
A 3-hour trip worth doing! When the temperature is inviting, we pause for a dive in the ocean, which means more relaxation. Reserve your place and bring your cherished ones along!

Porto Santo island holidays are the ideal getaway all year round. Porto Santo weather is temperate and mild with no great extremes-although the temperature can drop in the winter, so, whatever time of year you visit, be sure to bring warm clothes. Rainfall is higher in the winter, and you’ll probably need to pack a raincoat or umbrella. Porto Santo’s average temperatures range from 18C in winter to 25C in summer, with sea temperatures being nearly the same due to a warm Gulf Stream that surrounds the Island all year round, 18C to 22C, which makes walking possible in any season.
The dress code for our tours is comfortable and casual. Dressing in layers gives most comfort as you can shed and add items when the climate varies. Consider packing.
