All about the Jeep West Tour Booking.

Leaving Funchal, we’ll head for the nice little city of Ribeira Brava, where you can stroll around the picturesque streets and the promenade along the sea with the lovely cafés. An on-road and off-road drive through the villages of Ponta do Sol and Canhas will take us to Paul da Serra (1500 m.). The flat plateau has many stunning viewpoints, with the possibility of doing a short, beautiful hike (20 minutes). On our descent to the Northern coast, we will go through Fanal, a Laurel Forest “hot spot”. The ancient woodland is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site. Ribeira da Janela viewpoint will offer you scenic views over the north coast. In Porto Moniz, we’ll invite you to watch the spectacle of nature: the waves crashing onto a lava-formed seawater swimming pool. After lunch (not included), we will continue to the black sandy beach in Seixal and São Vicente village. Pay attention to the waterfalls along the way. Then, the road winds up and arrives at the top of Encumeada pass (1007 m.), with fabulous views of both the south and the north coast. We might also stop for a delicious poncha before reaching Funchal. Bring your camera, as you will want to capture the breathtaking views. Book now!

Madeira island holidays are the ideal getaway all year round. Madeira weather in coastal areas is mild with no great extremes – although the temperature can drop the higher you go on the island, whatever time of year you visit, be sure to bring warm clothes when visiting the mountains. Obviously, rainfall is higher in the winter, and you will probably need to pack a raincoat or umbrella. Madeira’s average temperatures range from 18C in winter to 25C in summer, with sea temperatures nearly the same because of a warm Gulf Stream that surrounds the Island all year round, 18C through 22C.
