Overview

Departure from Funchal to CURRAL DAS FREIRAS, a deep valley carved over the years, giving the impression of a volcanic crater. You will see the entire village from the top of BOCA DOS NAMORADOS (1100 m), a lovely place to relax and enjoy the extraordinary views before we dive into the fragrant eucalyptus forest. From here, we will begin the off-road journey to experience nature at its best until we stop for a drink: PONCHA. The traditional cocktail of Madeira is prepared on the spot, and if it is not the best, it is the strongest! We will drive along the regional road of QUINTA GRANDE towards CABO GIRÃO, one of the world’s highest sea cliffs (580 m). It is possible to walk on the impressive glass viewing platform. The breathtaking views over the Fajãs of Rancho and Cabo Girão are unique, and the panoramic views over the ocean, Câmara de Lobos and Funchal are magnificent.
